Honouring the Memory of Little Joseph Lentz

After four months of fighting, my grandson, Joseph, won the battle against his brain tumor when he passed, peacefully and quietly, into a place with no more medicine, procedures, doctors and hospitals.
Joe was in his parent's arms as, at his request, they sang his favorite 'good night' song to him and told him stories from the many books he loved (after you've read a story hundreds of times, you can repeat them word for word).
I'm honored to have been his Mimom.
My daughter, Jen, has started a foundation for the research into brain stem tumors of the medulla and pons areas of the brain stem. Tax deductible donations in honor of Joseph's memory can be made to
The Joseph Lentz Fund for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research,

Joe's parents, Jen and Bryan would love to see advances in the research and study of pediatric brain stem tumors so other little children will not have to endure what Joe did; perhaps they can save some other parents the anguish they are feeling now.
