No. 5 Border Terrier in Conformation in Canada for 2003
Although Maggie was only shown to the completion of her Canadian Championship, she racked up enough points (based on dogs beaten) to receive a certificate from the CKC announcing that she was in the 2003 Top 5 Border Terriers in Canada.
Way to go, Maggie!

In the absence of breed competition, Maggie earned her Canadian Championship the way so many Jansim pups and grand pups have done before - the hard way. She started out with a Terrier Group 3rd at the Moncton Kennel Club Show in New Brunswick on May 04, 2003
This set the tone for the following shows.
In Anna's words: "A totally shameless brag...Maggie won 3rd in group TWICE today at the
Tantamar Kennel Club shows (Amherst,N.S.) She now has 5 points.
Judges comments- very nice dog- I would like to see her when fully mature
- very cute Border
Next shows in Dartmouth May 31/June 1 ....but I will go with no
expectations...anything can happen good and bad"
Maggie was shown three days with the following results:
Day 1. Max Madger -gave her BOB + group 2nd - Laurinda (handler) said he was EXTREMELY complimentary of her head, coat , pelt - exactly as should be he said, Laurinda said he was very gruff so was surprised at the praise he heaped
upon her
Day 2. James Reynolds - BOB over Sr. puppy male - Jim was very complimentary of her head
Day 3. Margaret Robertson - Oh Well - you can't win them all.
This puts Maggie just one or two points shy of her Canadian Championship.
In August, Maggie "put it to bed"!
In St.John.NB on August 18th and 21st, 2003, Maggie earned group 2nds under judges Bud Haverstock
and Charles Bett to be officially known
as Ch. Falconbrook Lust for Life (Roger and Copper are the proud
parents). This makes four out seven pups from this litter finished in Canada - he other three were never intended to be shown.
