The Border Terrier Club of America is pleased to announce that their recipient of the 2010 AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship Award is JoAnn Frier-Murza. JoAnn is truly worthy of this award. She has worked hard for the betterment of the breed and volunteered for so many responsibilities in the BTCA.
As stated by AKC:
This award honors those individuals who deserve special recognition that have made a difference in the sport of purebred dogs, embodied the AKC Code of Sportsmanship, and have been an active and valued member of an AKC member club.
JoAnn certainly fits this description! The club is lucky to have her and the Jansim Gang owes its very existence to JoAnn and her Lothlorien Terriers.
