....on an era in the Dyer household at the end of February with the death of my father. Even at the very end, he did it his way. He died holding my hand at five minutes to midnight on February 25th. I waited a few minutes before calling the nurse. It was only when I received the certificate of death three days later that I realized the nurse had called his death at one minute past midnight on February 26th. Of course a certain amount of paperwork had already been submitted. So, depending on where you look, he either died on the 25th or the 26th - Way to go Dad!
