As we enter the New Year our our best wishes to go the JJ members and their families who are facing some tough challenges.

Baxter's family lost a beloved member with the passing of Derek's dad on January 10th. Many of us had the privilege of meeting "Sandy" at the ECDC Earthdog Test in Pictou NS, September 2005. Just 4 days out of chemo, Sandy played an active role at the test, helping to dig earths, prepare food and seizing every opportunity to learn about the earthdogs, their characteristics and the requirements.
Click here to read a wonderful tribute to Derek's Dad, including a mention of his new found interest in Earthdog tests.
