Molly was one of those rare go anywhere, do anything dogs.
She went from Group 1 in the Conformation ring to then ace an Earthdog practice without missing a beat.
She led me to a place of wonderful dogs and people, and lives on for now through her lovely, well-loved pups.
And nobody who ever had the privilege of enjoying her company for a few hours or more will ever forget her fierce determination to help herself to food or drink when the fancy took her.
She was ready to go before I was ready to say goodbye, but the sacred contract between she and I required that I follow her lead, as always.
What a dog, and what a world she opened up for me...
Cheers to a fine little bitch!
She would like best to be remembered by a perpetual annual feast day on February 15, a Mollyday, if you will.
DoGspeed, my dear friend... thanks for everything.
Grief never ends...but it changes.
It's a passage, not a place to stay.
Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith.
It is the price of love!
