"Mr. Tumnus"

Tumnus was raised by Parker, to be a perfect Gentleman, which he was, until the very end.
We had many, many, adventures together. Some just fun; some exciting; and some terrifying (for me). Competing for a CD, which we achieved.
Win or NQ, at the end of the day, I always went home with "the best dog, ever".
This past year, or so, has been a struggle, but as always, with Tumnus, he has been my teacher, and I have learnt much about patience, and compassion.

Much love and gratitude to dear Pippa for giving Mr Tumnus every opportunity to try all of the things, and be the best dog he could be. Their adventures ranged from trying personal protection training (as she'd done with her Dobes) when he was very young, through Obedience, a few outings in Conformation (that gorgeous head!!!), Agility, Earthdog, and really all of the things they could do together… they had such a solid bond.
She also supported Tumnus in every way as indignities of aging began to sneak up on him far too quickly over the past couple of years, as she has done with all of her dogs before him.
Tumnus was well raised with dear Parker, Pippa's lovely Detroit Melangian. And then Sensei often joined their pack. And then came Rupert, and Tumnus was no longer the baby… and the pack (Pippa and Aram's combined) continued to evolve, with Tumnus becoming the elder… and today, there will be a new bright star to look for in the sky, and plenty of friends old and new for Mr T to check in on over the Bridge…
How time does pass, and how fortunate we are to have fine companions & caretakers to help us along the way.
