2014 was a year of losses and gains, success and sadness, challenges and cherished moments. Each event changes our lives forever, sometimes the change is small, seemingly insignificant, other times it is life shattering in its magnitude. One thing that doesn't change is the unwavering support and understanding shared by those friends known informally as the JJ Group. The difference this can make as we travel the upredictable road of life's journey must never be underestimated. To all of you, our sincere thanks.

Out and About 2014

We knew going in that 2014 would be a year of loss and for that reason my heart was never really in this page of the web site. Most of the losses were anticipated, some were not, neither were the health challenges faced by too many of our members four-legged and two. We will see what 2015 brings!

The end of an Era

With the passing of Iseabail on November 10th, 2014 at the venerable age of 17 years, 7 months, an era has come to an end.

She was the last of our Brock - Penny litter, a litter that brought so much to me as a breeder and to those that owned them.

My heart aches for their loss and the knowledge that we will never see their like again.

Oh my goodness! Where did those twelve years go

Happy 12th birthday to the "Magnificent Seven".

Born in 2002, this litter precipitated our venture into the "digital age".
The web site and, more importantly, the Jansim Jottings Yahoo group arose from our continuing desire to share and communicate with our puppy owners as we had done in the past through more conventional means.
The intervening years have brought more than I could have ever envisaged.
