Just two weeks after the Beanfield Bash, many of us met up again at the 2006 BTCA National Specialty just north of Dayton, Ohio.
It was a busy, fun and successful series of events. Check out the brag pages for Bebe, Bindi, Colin, Free and Harry |
"Are we there yet?" ... a long trip but worth it

While many of us were off in Ohio, Higgs was busy doing his own thing.

Several JJ friends met up on various occasions during the Annual New Jersey Beanfield Spring festival. It was a great opportunity for earthdog education as well as socializing.

While we were down in New Jersey, one of the Vet Tech's where Mr. Marmalade was boarding took a liking to him and - hearing he was available for adoption - took him home to meet her husband, three children, senior Sheltie and.... a cat. We are happy to report (and show) that Mr. Marmalade (now Charlie) is doing just fine. Our sincere thanks to Bridget and her family for giving him the home he deserves.

A bed time story in a home of his own is a fairy tale come true for Charlie

No more lonely nights... or lonely days.

On the way back to NB/NS from the BTCO ED Tests the two Anna's and Mel witnessed a horrific accident. The trailer and car were totalled, the two dogs in the car walked away with barely a scratch - they were both crated. Kennelaire crates may be expensive but well worth the money.
